THANKS A LOT ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Until the day God comes down and says : "Nothing will ever fail in the world", you MUST have this add-on :). It has saved me a lot of times! Thanks a lot for writing it.

This may well be my favorite browser ad-on. I have it set up both on all my firefox installations, but also my chrome installations. It's so nice to have this safeguarding what I type against browser crashes and accidental clicks.

Plus, it's very useful for saving and restoring old text in forms, that saves time as well.

Thanks so much for making this!

@Alexander Kriegisch:

Hi,
I have the same problem, even after completely clearing the database.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE,PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE fix it!

We need more information.

This is the wrong place to report bugs, please contact us so we can get some details, this sort of problem is hard enough to recreate when we *do* have some details about your system, and totally impossible when we don't: lazarus AT interclue DOT com is our support address.

However, have you tried setting Lazarus to only store data for a limited time in the options? The next version of lazarus will change the defaults so that it doesn't store data forever, as that was clearly a mistake on our part!

Lazarus worked well for me for months, but lately it blocks FF on start-up and on other occasions. After a long while FF asks me if I want to stop the Lazarus script because it is eating up too much resources. Maybe this is because I often have open tabs with long WordPress articles in it. Obviously, Lazarus has problems with maintaining a large database, but this is just a suspicion. I think Lazarus should have a setting by which to exclude some domains or URL patterns from being indexed.

Thank you so much!!
This has saved me so many times and I've only had it a few days! Works wonderfully, don't know what I'd do without it!

This is an excellent addon.
But I have a feature request.
Detect CAPTCHA fields and don't save them.
Its very irritating to erase and then type it.

Possible security risk.
I have used this plugin for quite some time, and it was only recently that I figured out what a hazard it can be. Sure, it is really easy to replace the text in a form, but it is also very easy to replace the text in a form with whatever another user typed. Including emails, google searches, etc. It also has an option to remember passwords, which one user could turn on and obtain passwords from another user. However, it does have security adjustments, but they aren't recognized upon install. Not ever user does their homework. Many users could be getting spied on due to their ignorance of the security functions.

Possibly an issue here, yes.

You make a good point. It's true that users who *do not* set a Lazarus password and *do* have nosy people at their machine who *know what to look for* may have a privacy issue here. Note that hard drive scanning malware won't get anything as the data is stored encrypted whether there is a password set or not. Anyway, we are going to do something about this in our next release. Sorry it's taking us a while to get the next release out, we've been really overloaded lately.

Excellent, but a lot of "script not responding" errors since upgrading to Firefox 3.6, and complete freeze for a while (though not sure it is related to Lazarus).
Also happens with another extension though.

Lazarus saved me Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I am very glad that I got to know about this add-on. In my work we use online forms to enter reports, and many times I lost them for different reasons (server suddenly disconnected, a key that I accidentally typed and got me out of the page, etc.). Now I feel confident that if this happens again I will be able to recover a whole form or just a field that was not saved, and save time -and my liver-. Thank you for this application.

A Must-Have ext! You wouldn't believe how many times I thought I'd lost form information...and it's always right there, with Lazarus, at finger touch. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

Fantastic add-on, saved my @$$ more than a couple times!

Had an idea that would fall right in line with Lazarus that I'd love to see in the future....

For forms that you visit often that have a few fields you need to change before submitting, for instance a login page, where you might have a menu and you always use the second item in the drop down forcing you to manually change it every time you visit.... it would be nice if you could save that pref so that each time you come back, Lazarus has already selected the second item for you.

If you do loose form information and don't have this add-on installed yet a have found a simple trick.
- Don't close the error message screen.
- Open a new Firefox window, navigate to the blank form again, supplying all log in details, etc. This makes sure all the cookies are in order.
- Go back to the error message screen hit refresh, it will then ask if you are sure you want to resend form data. Hit yes, and it usually works.

I've been using Lazarus for quite a while and find it to be extremely useful. Since upgrading Firefox to v. 3.6, I've been having a problem with Lazarus v 2.0.5. I get a periodic "script not responding error," and I have to stop the script to continue using Firefox. I know that we're not supposed to post bug reports in these reviews. But, I tried to email the details of this problem to the developer, using the address on their website. The email was returned to me with the following error "delivery temporarily suspended: connect to mail.interclue.com:25: Connection timed out." This is a very handy add-on, so I hope that I can get this annoying problem resolved.

We had a bit of trouble with the firewall in front of our mailsever but it has since been resolved. We'd like some more information to help resolve this problem.

On-screen keyboard and Flash drive Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Suggestions

Could you add a portable version on usb stick?
Could you also add an on-screen keyboard with the computer and USB version, to prevent keyloggers from
obtaining information?

I absolutely love this add-on, the local power service here is kinda lame and the power goes off every time it rains. Now I can work in peace on a rainy day.
