Can't play videos embeded in Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Useless Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Since it breaks netflix streaming, even with on whitelist, it is completely useless.

Does not work - not even close to working software! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I can click on that blue 'F' till the cows come home. It won't let youtube videos play. Junk!

Doesn't work. Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Won't work properly in firefox 41.0.2 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Beautiful Flashblock ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Flashblock works wonderful for me I love it Thanks Philip !

No longer works correctly Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Flashblock used to work properly, but now its a hit and miss.

Why? because sometimes even when the flashblock is set to allow everything. It still blocks certain websites.
Applications like Netflix will not work regardless of whitelists or allow everything.
The only way to make netflix load is to disable flashblock completely.
This makes me wonder, because netflix is supposed to use Silverlight, not Flash.

The reported bug as been stagnant since 5 months, with no update. What a shame!

Needful for Security Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Flashblock works exactly as it always has for me. The interface can be a bit wonky, obscure. It takes getting used to triage your websites for flash content. But that's what the whitelist is for anyway! This is not an addon for people who need to be spoonfed. But once you get used to clicking the round Flashblock placeholders for any flash app, it is a piece of cake. Definitely needed for anyone who detests fat websites and security holes.

Used to love Flashblock, now it's worthless Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I've had this installed on Firefox and Chrome for about 2 years and this week had to disable/delete it from both browsers because it wasn't working. It has started blocking things so entirely that I can't get them to start, even when I click to allow the video to load. Instead of loading, I just get a black screen.

White listing also seems to have stopped working. For the life of me, can't get it to stop blocking Netflix videos, which isn't even flash, it's silverlight! By process of elimination, uninstalling and reinstalling, have determined FlashBlock is the problem. Switched to Flash Control and now everything is as it should be.

Support for HTML5 videos Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Works okay but does not allow youtube to use HTML5 streaming. Instead blocks and uses FLASH. Only way to use HTML5 is to disable HTML5 blocking which as a result no need for addon

HTML5? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Youtube still playing but audio only

nice Rated 5 out of 5 stars

even I put 5 starts. it's nice if this addon will try to workaround the war against this addon. a lot of sites put some blocking layer above "load this video" icon and force you to put these sites to witelists. usually I can disable this cover with 'inspect element' aand modify css but in my opinion, most users can't.

Total fail, does not stop auto play on any of the pages I tried.

Please add support for HTML5 videos Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very good add-on, but unfortunately still does not support HTML5 Streaming Videos like on youtube (as also with html5 video ads).

HTML5 Videos are more and more common, so please add support for it in the next time.

Excellent! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I use it mainly because of Youtube. I hate that when I click on a video link the video starts to play automatically. On Youtube, there is no option to disable autoplay. This add-on does that. Video page opens with the video paused. So far, I haven't had any problems with it.

Thank you!

PS: Perfect would it be if it would show the video's thumbnail, instead of a black screen.

no longer works on youtube Rated 2 out of 5 stars

FF v40.0.3
flashblock v1.5.18.1
OS: 4.1.3-201.fc22.x86_64

as soon as youtube page loads, the palyback starts, sound only, but the video frame remains blocked by flashblock. Need to stop the playback, enable the plugin, sometimes reload the page and then start the playback again in order to watch the video. Pure flash websites seem to work fine though.

Exactly like this guy described

Nice other than Netflix Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Works pretty well other than the fact you have to disable it and restart Firefox anytime you want to watch netflix in the browser

why the f*k did all the websites dissapeard from your extension's exception list ?! Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This extension is great but this issue annoyed me like hell, i mean come on, why did it happen ? does it have anything to do with the fact that i've just now installed firefox on another computer and signed on to get it syncronized with my bookmarks and extensions ? When you addon gets synchronized does the exception list dissapears from all my computers ? at least provide a save/load list mechanism or something ..
i'm so disappointed .. and annoyed ..

does not work as advertised Rated 1 out of 5 stars

videos start playing regardless if the plugin is active or not
