Very nice plugin, I use it a lot. One thing that would be cool is to have a small rectangle showing the color without having to hover on it, like PHPStorm does.

Doesn't work with the latest version of firebug Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This extension is very useful but doesn't work with firebug 2.0.6

I love you! It actually makes firebug worth using to create userstyles over Top Style and Stylizer. Well at least for simple page coloring.

Thanks for the great add-on! It's simple, fast, and it works perfect.

Amazing and useful! It should be integrated with Firebug.

Usefull tool, but I've some disappointed when all formats (rgb, rgba) being converted in hsl. And when I want change hsl color, Firepicker just can't do this (In color value I have [object Object]). Firefox 26.

It's the perfect companion for FireBug. Real time color and alpha adjuster (even for linear-gradients!). Allows for instant alpha values just by dragging the control bar. My favorite feature. FirePicker + FireBug == Time-saving tool!

wow, I love this Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I use FireBug a lot for developing webpage styles, and this little color picker helper just makes FireBug even better. I love the update of the lightness slider which is so helpful when you want to adjust a color value but stay in the same hue. Thank you so much for this!

Useful feature, I wish it were compatible with the builtin Firefox DevTool though.

Isn't it compatible with Firefox 18.0? i am trying to download, but all in vain. Please help me. it is a gr8 extension, btw .. :)

Don't know what's wrong

Hey,

don't know why it is not working for you. FF 18.0 is most certainly supported. Maybe try reinstalling Firebug/Firefox? Can you install/uninstall other Firefox plugins?

Could be possible implement this addon for Stylish?

This used to be really useful, but it seems to break firebug 1.10.3 (Which I would prefer to use over the old versions). So, I'm uninstalling for now.

It works...

Hey,

Firepicker *should* be working with Firebug 1.10.3 (in fact this is the Firebug version that I personally use). Would you mind trying to test it as described here: https://github.com/thedarkone/firepicker/issues/23#issuecomment-8955215

You can also checkout the official Firebug wiki here:

Thanks!

extra feature Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Useful addon - thx. Just miss one thing, which is needed quite often > starting from base color going up or down in lightness (making colors darker or brighter). Would be looking forward for this extra possibility :)

This is soooooooo usefull ! I needed this addon so much.
But can you please replace hue adjustment bar with lightness adjustment bar or make an option to switch between.
It would be ideal to have a possibility to lighten a color up to white, darken it to black or saturate/desaturate it. But hue and saturation adjustments is not so important as lightness control. Thanks!

Great but... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very useful addon, have been looking for something like that, however it very hard to pick different shade of the same colour. In Photoshop for example you can open colour picker and click on small B beside to bring up a slider to make the colour brighter or darker. Please see screenshot below. I'd love to see similar option in Firepicker.
