Thank You so much Jason ! Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

Thank You so much Jason. Thanks for all. I / We'll miss you... Your addon has been so useful to me, all these years. Bless You...

Hours of reading and learning without eye strain! So Pleasing Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

When you zoom an article on a website, NoSquint will remember and apply that zoom every where else in that site. It's so handy.

A useful add-on! Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

I have used mostly the zooming for a long time, and I am happy with it. Simple but efficient zooming options. I love that it can remember different zooming settings from one website to another.

Good but I have a small issue Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternen

I changed my background to black and the text to a lighter color, but the text in the google search field remains black, meaning I cannot read what I write in the search box and I don't see any option for changing that. Could you please fix that? Apart from that, it's very useful.

SAME PROBLEM WITH AMAZON ONLY Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternen

How many Reviewers do they need telling them that there is a busy script error message that comes up on Amazon when Nosquint is being used? I have the same problem. It's too bad because I really like this add-on other than this problem. FIX IT!!!

problem on Amazon (only): script busy Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternen

With NoSquint enabled on my FF42, Amazon product pages throw a pop-up alert about a busy script. The alert allow for "Stop the script" but then after a minute the pop-up returns. I know it's NoSquint through the process of elimination with the Add-Ons Manager. Too bad, I loved its function while it lasted.

Can't change color on an individual site... Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternen

I frequent a site that uses a light grey font for certain aspects of their articles. The site has a dark background, which is fine for most people, but my room is bright so I can't read it. I was hoping to use NoSquint to change said site's font color and nothing else, as per this statement "as well as color settings both globally (for all sites) and per site." but there seems to be no method to just change the font color of a single site? I could care less about the zoom levels, I just want to change the font color of specific sites.

I'll second these broken and needs updating comments Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternen

The No Squint icon got where it wasn't even showing anything in the New Add-On Bar. Now, the icon won't even show up in the customize window. This extension needs fixing and updating, and the developer needs to get with the dev for New Add-On Bar and work out how to get the No Squint icon to show up again on the add-on bar for New Add-On Bar users.

It is still my most used extension, and I need it very much with my eyesight, but it used to be great and now it is mostly just 'acceptable'.

Has this add-on been abandoned? It hasn't been updated in almost 3 years. Maybe an extension developer who is more active/has more time should get with this developer and see about taking it over if the current developer can no longer maintain it.

Outstanding Add-On Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

I love this add-on. I use it all the time. I have horrible eye sight, so this add on comes in very handy. However, lately, it's been having problems. Whenever I visit a product page on, my browser freezes up. So, now, the only way I can visit amazon is by disabling nosquint. I hope the developer can fix this problem. PS: I'm sure that nosquint is the problem because I disabled all of my addons except for nosquint and it still froze, then I enabled all of the addons except for nosquint, and it worked.

Usefull for save place on screen Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

Yes, the actual fashion of websites are often for very big text with pictures everywhere. If you have just a normal screen, opening just one website and you have your full screen fill up with all that sh*t, and can just see half of the text. With NoSquint, i can tell to that specific st*p*d websites « no, i am not blind, i don't need 48 pt text to read it, just 12 pt it's OK. So remember to apply 50% zoom when i will open you next time ». And now i can see the website AND my other windows.

Thank you! Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

I was getting tired of trying to read the tiny fonts on, especially for their bits of documentation. I didn't want to just use zoom because I don't need the images resized, just the text. Your add-on does just what I needed and no more. Thank you!

Re: Uninstalling Properly Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternen

OK. I worked out what was wrong with the uninstallation. This add-on had removed the toolbar from the standard menu and placed it on the Menu Bar. I had to drag it back to where it belonged. I could have done this manually without installing an extension. Be careful.

Deserves its high ratings Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

If you do a Text zoom -- which does not zoom the whole page or the frame sizes, then you can reach a point where the text starts to overflow outside the bounds of the frame, and then everything gets messy. Some webpages seem to be more immune to the problem than others, which means they're more user-friendly for Firefox > NoSquint users :) So if a different webpage gets all messed up from Text zooming, I prefer to blame it on the webpage rather than NoSquint.

My preferred combination is NoSquint and Image Zoom. Plus another few dozen add-ons. The ability to infinitely zoom (and shrink) is why I originally switched from Internet Exploder to Firefox... a few decades ago, since I.E., has a severely limited zoom range.

Great addon that is a must have for me. Would like to see some small feature addition like the ability to quickly turn off the feature using the addon bar or some key control.

Needs a bit of fixing Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternen

Just installed Firefox 42 on Windows 10 Home. It has your add-on along with Forecast Fox .. for some reason, the Zoom Magnifier is now part of the Forecast Fox toolbar and I can not seperate it. It was working fine in Firefox 39, not sure which Firefox broke it or if the issue is with No Squint or Forecast Fox or the lack of normal Classic Themes in Windows 10 .. Please see if this can be resolved.

unsupported buggy addon Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternen

Exception list does not work.

Seriously, this addon hasn't been updated for 2 years. We need a new one...

Exceptions work, they just aren't what you think they are

Exceptions allow you to override NoSquint's logic to determine which URLs should be grouped together to share the same settings. Normally this is by domain name, but you can create an exception to override that. By way of example, consider,, which NoSquint normally treats as separate sites with separate settings. Exceptions provide a mechanism to group these together to share settings.

The capability you were looking for with Exceptions unfortunately doesn't exist. I understand the importance of the use-case, and it's a gap, to be sure.
