Ok

Perfect. Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

Used that extension on Opera.
Moved to Firefox (ESR 52, atm) due to Opera's drop of NPAPI.
Was super happy when I found that Firefox has that extension too. =)
Works like a charm. Fast and accurate.

Not working with FF 53.0 Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

Just updated today to Firefox 53.0 and this add-on has been disabled...

Can you please fix... thank you

I find it (mostly) extremely useful. Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

The (mostly) is due to running into a brick wall with embedded medical reports in my patient portals. It captures the whole page... but not the reports in the page. I had to jump through other hoops to snag and convert them. (Annoying, because some of the reports lack the center letterheads which I wanted, and sometimes needed on them, and if they were screenshot with the whole embedded report displaying in full, that would be attached. Praises be to Athena, creative and wise that she is, that Photoshop and I are besties.)

But other than that, it does what it says on the tin. Does it have far more functionality as a paid version? Just eyeballing all the options hanging out of reach like a carrot, it's clear that it does. But having to retire from nursing at the ripe old age of my late thirties due to metastatic cancer and go on disability, the cost of the pro keeps it off any sort of 'plan to purchase list' (although I do have the developer on a 'plan to donate' list once I'm caught up on Christmas credit bills. And a Sideshow Collectable doll I dearly want. I'm a proper geek.)

The things it can't do in the free version, you can do in just MS Paint easily enough (is there a Mac type of program like this?) And the free version still does the basic requirements to be properly useful and not clunky. If your income bracket can't justify the price tag of pro, like with me, find a way to handle the rest of what you need done with other programs available (MS Paint, like I said, or GIMP) and donate five or ten USD when you can once in a while. (Honestly, if that suggestion sounds too clunky to you, then use the free, and 'donate' into a savings once in a while until you have 'donated' the amount needed to buy the pro. Win-win.)

I am keeping this add-on until when/if it goes bonkers and dies like add-ons sometimes are wont to do. Please don't let this one pass on. It is one of my preciousssss. I wants it, the precioussss.

Annotations doesn't work in FF 52+ ? Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

Great addon, was using it since 2012. But latest version for FF 52+ doesn't let me edit/add annotations - only save screenshot functiuons are available :(
Please add editor support for FF 52+ as it was before. Thanks.

Best

So far my go to for screenshots Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

I used another screenshot editor but once they updated they ruined it, I tried 9 other SE's but this is the one that works for me. Even if my old SE gets it together and fixes it I'm staying with FireShot. I haven't found any cons yet once I learned how to use it, it has been nothing but easy peasy. Thank you to the developers!

Quality of image could be better Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternen

I can't honestly say that I am that impressed with this extension, the quality of the image created is very low and there is no option to increase it. All in all a little disappointed.

Fireshot beta working w/ 64-bit FF - some minor glitches/nags Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

First off, I love this add-on. Paid $40 to support the author. Works great with Chrome and Firefox. Truly captures websites screen-by-screen as they actually appear. No more saving offline copies that look like a mess. No more broken HTML/CSS saves. This thing works!

The Chrome version of Fireshot creates clickable embedded links, which is awesome and unfortunately doesn't appear to be the case with Firefox (probably a Firefox limitation). The beta Firefox version is a little glitchy and disables the use of CTL-D for bookmarking sites (might be a hotkey clash). Occasionally the Firefox version captures anomalies (pieces of other windows, etc.) due to the screen capture method used. Fireshot beta also detects other apps like Excel and can run on top of them, allowing it to 'integrate' with them. I personally prefer to disable that feature.

For the best results, I recommend using the Chrome version, since the links are saved and the rendering is more efficient than the Firefox version. But the Firefox version is still very good and worth buying. All of the versions are included in the single purchase of Fireshot.

Does what it says it will do. I use it mostly for recording transactions. Don't know what I'd do without it.
