Note: there's a bug of sorts in certain builds of Firefox that causes stutter when the memory usage is polled. I am aware of the issue but it is not in my code and thus I cannot fix it. We'll have to wait until Mozilla looks at it.
Palemoon and possibly other builds are not yet affected by it.https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=969407
Also, read the review guidelines. Posting your bugs here does not help anyone because I can't contact you and can only reply once to each review. Use the support email link instead!
RAM Restart creates 2 independent add-on bar widgets: a green/red LED and a megabyte counter. The LED will change color depending on whether or not the current RAM usage is beyond the configured threshold and the counter will simply display the value.
Please rate/review! :)
Thank you for the donations! :D
This add-on is heavily based on Memory Restart
. MR is pretty much the only RAM usage reporter I've found that actually works and has nice features/a proper display, but it's built on the old code platform. RAMR provides the same correct reporting, a similar interface and updated code.
- separable toolbar widgets
- configurable refresh rate and threshold
- restart Firefox by clicking either widget
